ePSXe is a playstation emulator for the PC. It plays almost all the PS1 games outhere, but requires a bit of tweaking on your part. It's basicly free, but you have to find a playstaion bios, on your own.
Just do a search for it on yahoo....if your interested.....it's a whole lot less trouble just buying a PS2 or PS1, though.
Anyway....your confusing me with the videoplayer part. Min. install and full install have nothing to do with being able to see movies on a third party videoplayer (such as windows' mediaplayer). I don't think the install method has anything to do with the movies, at all....the moves are played off the CD-rom regardless of what install method you choose.
That's why I'm confused with that last post.
The codecs for the video's of FF7, are in the install disk. In autoplay menu, one of the options says something like install mediaplayer....that's the installation of the codecs. Or you can just install the upsidedown patch, that has the codecs, too. Those codecs should allow Windows mediaplayer to play the avi files in the disk....but you will see spoilers if you do.
