Make an FF7 uncensored patch?
It's a simple dumb patch really, all it does is uncensor all the cursing.
See Cid and Barret in their uncensored berserker glory.
So %#$@! will be changed to: Fuck!

My friend is also thinking of redoing the whole script and make a funny script like those spoof patches you see floating around for SNES roms (mostly FF6).
Would you guys want any of these two?

I always thought the symbols were better than swearing, I think in a way it adds to Barret's character.

Also, you may think it easy, but if you have bothered to look in Cosmo yet, You will know that ALL dialogue is written in triplicate (at least the top few pages of mine are)

You would have to go thru EACH bit of dialogue and insert your "new funny story" into each one...that itself witll takem months.

I did try it.
I thought "Cool, just load each thing and change every line, looks simple enough".
So I IMed my friend talking about how easy it is since he's a computer noob and he wouldn't have to worry about a thing and he said he would be interested in doing it.

So you guys would accept both an uncensored patch and a spoof patch?

Uncensored patch I would probably use since I'm not a huge fan of censoring.

Spoof patch I wouldn't unless I was really bored.
