Who made the Chocobo patch?
« on: 2004-06-02 18:28:14 »
I started wondering about this, so I might as well ask.

I think the handle was jedwin?

But who was it really....I mean, what happened to this guy. I never see him on the forum. After solving that crash he should be a household name, don't you think?....well for those that own FF7PC and WinXP, anyway.

And I think I recall that the name jedwin was just an alias.....

A quick run to the FAQ forum reveals the very thread that Jedwin started when he solved the problem.

Yeah... he pretty much came, fixed it, and left.

Well, I always thought it kinda strange, that he came and went...so fast. why to *this* board.....just to solve the Chocobo patch thing? I thought maybe it was a regular just hiding his or her identity from Eidos or Squaresoft for copyright reasons.

I guess it could have been a guy from Squaresoft, or Eidos, or something. If so, too bad a patch couldn't be made to cap the Framerates of the motorbike part.
