i was wondering if i could still get Omnislash after the ultimate weapons are unleashed? and if at that point in the game it is too late to start raising chocobo?

Its never too late to start raising Chocobos. If I remember correctly, you dont even need a Chocobo to get Omnislash. You just need to get some high amount of points at the battle arena in Gold Saucer to buy it.

I remember when I got my Omnislash...I spent like 2 hours in that damn arena, getting all the points, and I finally got it. I went outside around the area, started killing things to see it in action. And YOINK!, brother walks by and trips on the power cord...

To this day, I save after everything...

...that's funny. almost as funny as the post in IGN...where this guy unlocked everything in FFX and then his friend saved over his 150+ hour game.

I just remember getting Omni...and not being able to use it, because the other breaks weren't learned.

mediaplayer makes them look the best...but has no effect in-game.

Yeah, I went through the battle tower, but my levels were rather high so I was getting like 9000 points a battle (with the ribbon equipped you might as well aim for the frogs and poision, as this will increase the points you get). Then I teach it to him, and come to play the game later and for some reason he didn't have it anymore!

I've noticed that he knows it for the final attack on sephiroth and was wondering, can you do anything other then use onmislash on him? I noticed that there was no magic /summon materia being useable and I didn't try to see if defend was an option.

No, there is no other option what so ever to attack Sephiroth. There isnt even an item feature. Its not really a battle, its really more of an interactive story. Instead of just making an FMV about it, they decided to let the player feel special and push a button or too, instead of having to actually fight him...

But after Jenova, Bizzaro Sephiroth, and the One Winged Sephiorth with that damn Comet attack...One potentially aggrivating boss battle doesnt seem so much of a loss...

No, there is no other option what so ever to attack Sephiroth.

Close but not quite. The last time I beat the game, I decided Id just sit and see what happened if I didnt attack. Sephiroth actually does attack after a moment, for about 9100 HP of damage. Of course Id forgotten I had counter attack materia equiped, so the couter attack killed him, and I missed out on the Omnislash there, haha.

XD thats great. He must have like 1 hitpoint. Hmm, I never would of thought of that. You'd think they would of disabled all materia and stuff like that.
