Question about Aeris' Death:
« on: 2004-08-25 00:58:47 »
When Aeris dies, do you lose ALL the items that were equiped on her  :z ? (Ex: Materia, Weapons, Armor, Rings)?

If so, at WHAT time should i start to unequip all of her items?

If it doesn't, it goes straight back to the items list (for the weapon, armor, ring) and goes straight back to the materia list (materia) right?

Thanks!

Here's the thing...

You're going to have to use her for a boss fight. Even if you were to lose your items, it doesnt matter, because you are forced to use her. If you equip her with crappy items to save the good ones, you'll probaly end up losing. Its a lose-lose situation.

As for if you do, I cant remember specificly, but Im thinking yes.

Dang!  So that means there is no time for me to unequip all of her things after the boss fight!?!?!?
So basically she dies right after she wins the boss fight?

:-?    :isee:  :weep:    :x

So if i had equiped her with summons for the boss fight, i basically lose the summon correct?

How do you think i'll fair againest the boss with no materia?
(Aeris is around level 46/47)

LOL

I think i did a LITTLE too much training in junon alarm area  :-?

Wait let me try to get this straight though, does aeris have to fight a battle BY HERSELF?

And who's the last boss she has to face before she dies [So i know what to equip on her, and not lose all my good materia]?

I change my answer then.

You dont lose your materia. I still had all of my summons when I beat the game. It wouldnt make sense if you did the quests for them just to lose them. You do lose her equiped weapon (but who else is gonna use it).

umm...you don't lose any materia...or anything she has equipped from what I recall. They all just appear in your inventory...when she leaves Cloud's party.

Hmm in all final fantasy games i max out my characters and really master the game. My ff7 file kicked ass. I had everything my materia list was completely full i had 2 copies of the master materias (one from the space place and the others from emerald weapon), maxed characters and yeah.. I think its worth it to put as much effort into the game as you can even if it takes like 200 hours, especially with a game like ff7.

Her last fight is Demon Gate, which can be hellaciously hard if you aren't ready or... don't use her frequently.
She isn't in your party for Jenova-LIFE.

Kay thanks!  Unfortunately I just beat Demon Gate.  (extremely easy..Lol  Let's just say my cloud = level 55, the rest at like level 49).  Bahamut + Cosmo Memory = Death lol

Aww man too bad she has her ultimate weapon + good armor equiped.

I wanted to sell them for money :(

At least I get the materia and rings back. lol

Anyone know how much Princess Guard is worth?
