Another FF7music problem...
« on: 2004-11-20 09:40:00 »
I checked nearly every FF7music related thread and can't find a solution to my problem.

I'm running Final Fantasy VII 1.02 patched with AnimeVamp 1.04, software mode on a Radeon 9800 Pro. I also patched the game with the higher quality Cloud model, and the hands patch. Everything works great, but my MP3 music won't play instead of the MIDI music. I also tried the game with all that, but without the AnimeVamp patch and it wouldn't run at all.

I've also tried the latest Ficedula.dll, and version 1.10. Everything is installed properly, I have the ff7music.dll in the main Final Fantasy VII directory. So anyways, here are my FF7music settings:

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Taken from the Great FF7 FAQ

Probably a good idea to not use that patch really.

Interesting. I'll try a fresh install.

I always found this humorous:

Oh! And how fucking wonderful it is!

I got everything working now, even D3D.

MOD EDIT: Edited two posts into one. Please don't double-post.

My bad. :isee:
