ffvii final sequence problem

i finally beat FFVII the other night   :D
saw the FMV sequence
faught solo seph
saw credits
saw nanaki running with the cubs *CUTE*
saw the stars running along the screen with the opening music
5 minutes later, same thing

Is there a glitch with my game?
(if i had to wait longer damn! turned console off)

The stars with the music goes on forever (until you turn off or reset the console anyway).  This is intentional, and I think the same thing happens at the end of FF4, 5, 6, and 9 (9 has no stars though...).

i was thinking i had to a) clean the disk b) get a new Disk 3
