cosmo canyon crash, again
« on: 2005-02-16 14:19:05 »
Hello, I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to get past this  observatory scene. I have xp and none of the patches fix this problem. Please right click, hit save, and then once downloaded rename file  to save00.ff7.  The website server i use wont allow file extensions that it doesnt understand. Thanks! http://free.hostdepartment.com/j/johndoe105/save00.bmp

I tried zipping up the save00.ff7 file in a zip file and for some reason the server still didn't accept it. It must of checked the zip contents and not recognized it. If you download the link i left and rename it to a ff7 extension it works just fine.

Hey, there! Just found a cool patch that actually got me past that accursed Planetarium-thingy scene.
Anyone trying to get past the Cosmo Canyon Crash may check this out:
Worked for me :D

All Animevamp's program does is apply the Chocobo patch and changes stuff in your computer registry. Which I don't like at all.

There's another program that takes your save file and advances it past the Cosmo Canyon thing.  I don't know how close whoever made it is to Animevamp, but it's been around their message boards... I haven't tried it myself.

The patch didn't work for me.  I will just have to wait for someone to get past this part for me.

Hi! Can some one help with this! I have all of Ficedula's FF7 saved in my FF7 folder! Which is the Windows Patch! I crash every time after I beat the Ghost Warrior in the sealed cave and after Bugenhagen talks to Red XIII and they see Seto and then Red XIII howls at his father then the game crashes and I get user.exe  error prolems! Only after I play the game for a time! Is it a time thing! I had no problems other wise playing! I save the game alot ! I just put in 128 Radeon 9250 graphic card so that my memory for direct X is 128 not 3! I not had any other problems with the game! Any help would be great! Thanks!
