I just saw the 20mb tech demo video of Final Fantasy 7 for Playstation 3, since that's only a demo video and squareenix isn't gonna remake ff7, I have some ideas, that tech demo video looks very simular to the first video from FF7, we can have someone edit the tech demo video and get rid of some junk text (like ff7 for ps3 and gamestop and stuff like that) and use that to replace the ff7 default video, then we can look for a 3ds max artist and have him/her work on a Cloud model based on the ones in that tech demo video, it's not easy to make a model from scratch with nothing to look at, it's alot easier if you have something to look at.

Stop.posting.new.threads.identical.to.ones.already.there!

Though creds for getting it in the right forum, at least.

For those of you wondering why he suddenly got banned, here's the PM conversation. Anyone wants to complain about me publicizing PMs, keep in mind that when you're not nice I have no obligation be a anything else in return. I also don't believe I have any obligation to preserve anyone's public image when they're attacking me personally in secret. :P

Hi, i don't know about you, but i don't have the time to go through every thread on the forum just to make sure they aren't double posting the same thing, i guess since I have no time to check every thread to make sure what i'm posting already exist then I should just not post here at all, it's not like i'm posting the exact same thing as others, you didn't even read my thread completely but anyways, I'll stop coming so you have less to worry about.

Typically when you're new on a forum, you do a quick search for recent topics covering the same idea. See that "Search" button up there? Nevermind, it's not my problem that newbies keep making fools of themselves by appearing illiterate.

Besides, I closed the thread and provided a link to the other topic (which while it doesn't explicitly mention recreating the Cloud model as well, it's unnecessary to have two simultaneous threads covering such closely related and indeed overlapping concepts). You were entirely free to continue the conversation in there (where it would have fit right in), instead of wasting your time to PM me just to tell me I'm a big meanie. Nonetheless, I expect people to make good on their word so I guess you won't be reading this anyway.

You are insane if you think people have to do a search everytime they have to post something on a forum, everyone post stuff differently, you wouldn't know what to search for because either you get 0 results or you get alot of unrelated results, you are just a japanese weirdo, have fun with your little final fantasy world, because obviously you don't know sh*t about web, I have been on the web since the birth of it, take a look at your website and take a look at mine http://www.csharpusa.com/demo/
you think you are special or something? I have 3 different forums and total of 7000+ members and I'm not even cocky like you who tries to limit what people can do, do whatever you want with your little fantasy cave and have fun, later N00B, obviously you know nothing about how the www works, calling me a n00bs who's been on the web before you even had a computer, sad... n00b....

Ah yes, I so enjoy a good argument in well-versed English. Guess I'll have to reply to yours anyway. Today I'm not in a good mood, so I will counter your points quite harshly. Don't take it too personally, I just don't respond kindly to being assaulted with bad arguments in bad English.

Ooh, very nice website. I especially liked the numerous JavaScript errors that occured whenever I tried to navigate it. Way to go to make a cross-compatible website, master. So I loaded up IE just to be able to view it, and was greeted with a repulsive white glow on black text that made whatever you wrote using it damn near unreadable. That, and full-screen traffic exchange pop-unders? Sure could have fooled me this was an amateur script kiddie site (as you surely know the term does not refer to your age, rather your way of using scripts). So I tried visiting your forums to see what heavenly places they must be when under your benevolent supervision which doesn't limit what people can do, but oddly enough I couldn't since you seem to require registration to even view them. Feel free to send a link to a public forum before you use them as an argument, forgive my bluntness but people won't take your word for things while you're bitching at them. Yes, I visited your site. I'm not sure I got the point you were trying to make with it, though.

So in summing up? No, I don't pretend to be special. I run a small, modest website where people can download a few small, pointless programs I wrote, and I keep a discussion forum with two parts, one where people can talk freely and one where they can contribute information. I moderate the second part heavily for the same reason that you expect an encyclopaedia not to have pointless or duplicate entries. I also purge my members list regularly to get rid of unused accounts. My site is incredibly small, ranks about 2,200,000'th on the web (interestingly enough, the site you sent me doesn't rank at all). So I run a small site, I haven't been on the web for nearly as many years as you claim (since around 1996, with my first home connection in 1997), I control heavily what my users can do, and I live in a fantasy cave where the entire site specializes on an incredibly narrow topic (FF game hacking). You on the other hand, have been around longer, are obviously much nicer towards your users, have at least one site catering to a much wider audience (C# information), have a total of seven times as many (active?) members than my tiny site, and you seem to be working in a reasonably successful web hosting company.

And yet, you came to my site. See, that's really why I do this; I don't care about a huge amount of members, that's just a hassle to moderate. I don't try to appeal to a huge audience, I just focused on a very small topic and tried to make a really good place for it. That's how I get my kicks from this, when the few people who come here tell me it's just what they'd been searching for but didn't find elsewhere. I want to make a place worth finding. And I want to keep it that way; that's why I'm quite restrictive about what people do here.

Now it's not like a cursed you or told you to burn your cat or anything, I was just reading my forums and yours happened to be something like the 4th or 5th topic discussing the FF7 PS3 opening, and the second one specifically discussing using it to replace the original FF7 opening. For the people who want to keep up to date with such discussions, it's preferable if it's all in one topic instead of spread out over several, so I closed your topic and directed people to the other topic to continue the discussion there if they wanted. I realize your topic was discussing wider implications than merely replacing the .avi, but I was not in a good mood that day and so I treated you worse than you deserved. I'm really sorry for that, especially since you've already made several useful contributions to the forums and was well-received by the other members.

Is this a good time to point out I'm not Japanese? Anyway you got the benefit of the doubt, way to go to fulfill every preconception there is about Americans.

And in all fairness he wouldn't exactly read the last reply since he was banned at this point. But thanks to this topic, now he can! :)

Though I admit my last statement is a bit unfounded, as he's been posting both from US and Chinese IPs. If it turns out he's Chinese and was posting through US proxy (and not the other way around), then SupremeServer; I deeply apologize for calling you American.
