Sorry, but if you havent seen any petitions for FF7 remakes, sequals or other related pariphinalia, you obviousl havent been looking.

Also, on the subject of oney making companies, care to name a big company that ISNT profit oriented?

No, I haven't seen any.
Even if there were any, they were not about making so many "compilations" from just one game - people wanted remake of FF7 or a movie, but not so "massive games attack" from SquareEnix.

At least I have to agree that every, small or big company aim is simple - profits. But, I can't understand why people agree with such situation where the company exploits all the best ideas from the best game they ever made.

Because it doesn't in any way "sucks everything the best what a game offered". When they release sequels, the Square Ninja don't break into your house, steal all the FF7 discs and replace them with inferior re-releases. Square releasing more stuff in no way affects the original. If it was good, then guess what? It's just as good afterwards. The only difference is that if you want you can go out and buy more stuff.

You seem to be arguing that FF7 original by itself is somehow better than FF7 original plus the option to get more things later. I can't see the logic behind that at all. You don't want them? Don't buy them. You're in exactly the same situation as if Square never released anything extra. But those of us who do want to see the new stuff can go out and get it.

What are you on about "compilations"?

A compilation is a collection of items all grouped into one place, IE a compilation CD.

What square is making are not "compilations"

Please read up; Square's whole range of new FF7 releases are jointly called "Compilation of FF7".
