Cutting the sound in Chocobo World (FF8)

You know , that pocketstation minigame ? well the sound is pissing me off ! is there any way i can ... remove it ? cuz i can't listen to music while Chocobo World is running in the background ...

From what I remember of it, there was a button to turn off the music and sounds. Have you checked the readme file?

yeah , i've checked and no , there is nothing about cutting the sound in chocobo world (not even in the real FF8 game)

Cutting the music should be easy -- delete the .sgt files that it plays?  I think it'll still work and not crash.

(Not sure which files they are, but all of the .sgt files are in the same place, and you can play them with FF8MIDI or the FF8 Configurator.)

I've just reinstalled FF8 and tried pressing every button on my keyboard. The S button seems to do the trick  and cuts both sound & music from Chocobo World.
