Installation problem for FF8, please, help.

-_- I'm having an annoying problem with FF8. At exactly 76% in the installation it has an error that says this:

"An error occured during the move data
 Process:-106

Component:FF8 Program Files

File group: Program executable files ENG
File:Audio.dat"

Any help you can give is more than appreciated. BTW, it worked fine on my old computer. I just don't know what to do.

Thank you.

Most people frown at double posting, but triple posting and being impatient will annoy the board members.

Have you checked your CDs for scratches or tried to manually copy the file to your hard drive?

I've been waiting like, 2 or 3 hours...Anyways, copy to harddrive? How do I do that? And I checked for scratches awhile ago, it doesn't seem to scratched, there's just a couple small ones here and there, I cleaned the cd as well...

Beats me.... Guess you'll just have to continue playing it on your "old computer".

I bet if you removed the CD-rom of your old computer and put it on your new one.....it'll probably read it. Some Cd-roms are just better than others. The one on your new computer is probably more sensitive to scratches or something.

Either that, or something is up with your new PC.

Oh...and these forums do have an edit button.... And as long as your the last one on the thread...they don't get marked with an edit tag.
