Speed Square, breaking 5000 points?!

Alright, I'm trying to get the parasol for Aeris. I can get around 4300 points on this stupid godforsaken game, but I can't break 5000. I hit the yellow rock, I get part of the boats wheel thing (I don't think I'm doing it right), get the red balloon, get the big UFO, get the friggin 200 point light! I do everything the stupid faq says. Somehow I'm suppost to get 1500 points after the star part? I leave the plane area with over 1100 points and I can't get that score! Is there anything I am missing? Thanks!

edit: wow, nevermind! i accidently hit the yellow zeppelin (the first one thats there for like a second) and i got something like a 20000 point bonus! i was like holy crap! I ended with over 29000 points! so much for skill in that minigame, just gotta get lucky and hit the propeller!

Erf, I got so fed up trying after about 30 times I just hacked it -_- I could never get the propeller to break, please elaborate? I always heard it would get you shitloads of points but it sounded like a rumour really...

If only the controls were nicer, you'd get more points more easily...at least that's what I found on PC version anyways.

Yeah, the zeplin's the only way to go =)

I could never bust the propellor. Putting my shame aside, I used the savegame editor to get the Parasol.

I hope its not a bad thing to revive a topic that has been dead for over half a year, but, I am, too, stuck at this minigame at the moment. I couldn't find a more recent topic on the subject and I didn't want to create a new one for it.
