Version Of FF7/FF8 Comparisions

I made this topic because I believe there is something (odd?) about my versions of FF7/FF8 for PC. My versions *Asia-Pacific Editions* were bought from http://shop.noctalis.com/codex.cgi?g_ff78  It was a great buy.
Both games were brand new and work pretty much perfect...however I noticed a few little things happening with my versions.

~FF8~ .exe version 1.2 Non-Geforce
1. There is sound delays happening on one variation of Squall's Renzokuken limit break, where the sound is a bit delayed with his slashes (the one when he slashes 4 times) and also on the first blow of the Lion Heart finisher)
2. Slow downs during Fog/Mist emulation, but this is probably because of my video card, not actually that bad, just pointing out.
Overall the game is perfect, using a soundfont for the music. My Fav FF!

~FF7~ .exe version 1.0!
1. Unable to get Hardware Acceleration to work with my TnT2 Pro.
2. For some reason the Riva Tnt patch doesnt really work with some videos during gameplay. The intro video with chocobos doesnt happen, but I think its because i dont have an Eidos video, since the patch is from them.
FF7 works great in software renderer, maybe not the best graphics but eh, o well. Just started using FF7MUsic, and it seems to work fine. Overall Great Game! Chocobo patch worked perfectly.

So basically I'm just curious to know what versions (.exe & region) you all are using, and if any of these errors look familiar to you. Sorry for a long post, but thanks for reading!  :D
