I get an error

Whats the message? Yet you never let it be know, so that others can either help you rid yourself of this problem, or so that others can excuse your for your incompetence.

Update your video drivers.

Its a cause of the reunion patch. I suppose you had this problem before and after the patch. Noticing that you failed to search for Veclord's excelent guide before posting a useless topic, i doubt you have actually looked at this: http://forums.qhimm.com/viewtopic.php?t=4045&highlight=reunion+patch
Also, shouldn't both your topics have been in the Programming Feedback? Those titles mean something in case you didn't know, it falls under the catagory of "Suggestions, bug reports, requests, etc. for released programs", not "Patches, soundfonts, tech-support etc. for your FF game." Might I emphasise Read the FAQ forum first!

I already read that I did that fix it makes the character models look crisp but gives me grids. You must take me for a complete idiot. I can not check the nvidia and play the game  but the models are pixely. My game is fine except for that error.

Right, please don't double-post, and making a new topic in this case was probably not necessary.

The Game Tweaking forum is an approriate forum for these topics.

Midgar, calm down...  I was close to handing both of you a warning.

Does anyone know a fix to making the char models look good like they do in nvidia riva/tnt mode without having the grids? I did the Riva tuner thing like the FAQ said but I still get the grids. I also did uncheck the 8 bit textures thing

If all else fails reinstall the whole thing. See if that helps.

Is the models suppose to be better during battle also? If so can I see a screen shot?

No. It only converts field models.
