« on: 2006-04-02 03:02:03 »
i was having so much fun with my new FF8....but...it crashes :o ...

i have bought, played, completed, and given away Final Fantasy VIII for playstation....then i......wanted it again, so i decided to venture into the PC Game version, so i bought it......now.......IT CRASHES ON ME

anyway, here is the save file for my current game, the game crashes on the part where Squall leaves the escape pod to save Rinoa, and they go through all the cutscenes, then on the final one where you FIRST see Ragnarok......it just crashes to some send error report screen....

i doubt the problem is my gfx.....cuz they played ff7 very smoothly, and it has done this one good so far....

i think i said enough...

Hey everybody, I don't mean to be terribly noobish or anything, and at the risk of inviting the contempt that follows the words "posts: 1" under someone's username... I'm having the exact same problem with my ff8 as this guy was. Right after squall saves rinoa i get an error report screen. I'm playing the game patched to 1.02 and i've really searched for other solutions to the problem... This being the closest i've found. Can anyone help me out (in terms of getting to the next save point)?

I really would be so grateful.

Got the solution for it.

Just go into your config options and set movie resolution to low! worked for me.

only clip that don't like high res playback.
