I am most uncertain what you are asking .. could you explain in non lingo terms exactly what you are looking for?

All field texts are with the field location in the PS1 variant the PC I'm not positive but it's the same situation. IE if you know the field location something happens then it's in THAT field data area. (including NPC's etc.)

Also altering field texts is a VERY interesting task as the field 'text' is not TEXT (apart from seemingly encoded oddly). It's FF7's internal script.  Keep that in mind if you want to keep sane.
