Annoying Video Problem in FF7

Hey guys, I have a problem with FF7, I'm using the High Res Patch which allows me to play at 1280x1024 with the black bar on the bottom. What bugs me is that whenever I alt+tab out of the game, the game crashes as soon as it goes into a fight. Now, at some point boss fights during the game, for some reason, the game still runs. Also, whenever I enable AA and AF, the game seems to generate a lot of horizontal tearing, and during the movie cutscenes, it seems like the movie is moving, its kinda hard to describe. All I know is that the more AA and AF I turn up, the worse this problem is. However, when I alt + tab out of the game, the problem goes away, but the crashing at battles kicks into effect. It's really annoying me, cuz I want to play this game with AA and AF, does anyone know any kinds of solution to this problem? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

3.0 Ghz P4 2MB L2 Cache
256 MB Mobility Radeon X600
2 GB RAM
WinXP Pro SP2

Because it's a problem in which he needs to have his game tweaked a bit?

Granted, he could probably find a solution by searching, but by all means, he's in the right forum, which is generally a surprise for new people these days.

He's right.  Game Tweaking is the approriate forum for support requests (check the descriptions on the main page).

about ur patch dziugo, will this replace my high res patch?

nvm, i just installed ur patch succesfully. It froze my computer the first time though, weird.
