this may have been coverd already but i cannot find a direct answer anyeay so i started a new topic. when i try ti use the (saint high res patch) it tells me that the file size is wrong. followed by  the error no patch installed. it also says that CRC32 check failed can anyone help?

You must use a completly clean copy of FF7.EXE version 1.02 USA.

I am using a "clean" version. If by clean you meant searching every 100 video game stores in vegas and then paying $39.99 for it.

YOu must install tthe "tnt patdch" (1.02 exe)
do NOT Patch it with the chocobo patch, because the hires patch includes the chocobo patch.

simple, no?
