Final Fantasy 7, crashing issues?

Yes, I've used the search button. Or, I just haven't been searching good enough.

However, I just ran the NPC Reco patch, and it worked perfectly. When I ran the break damage limit patch, it worked fine, but if I go to another scene or another area, it just crashes on me. Any ideas why? Any solutions, also?

I'll go back to searching.  -charges!-

EDIT: Also, after I did install the NPC patch, how should I install the Sephiroth mod patch? I've got no clue. If I tried to run it, it says "blah blah blah, nothing to update, or can't update etc etc."

I remember I've had exactly the same problem. It was about NPC RP mod and the regional settings I forgot about. You know if your native language uses a slightly different alphabet or alphabetical order LGP Tools seem to screw the patching process (everything seems fine but when you run the game it often crashes at changing scenes). So all you have to do is set your language etc. in Control Panel to US (english) FIRST, then apply the patch and after that you can revert the regional settings back to normal.

As for the Sephiroth patch I can tell very little but I am sure that it needs NPC RP installed correctly otherwise it will refuse to apply itself. So maybe the problem will be solved after solving the above paragraph.

Hmm, but it's already set to english. I do live in the USA, afterall. XD
