ps2 emulators + 3d models

does anyone know of a ps2 emulator that works? ive ben trying  few but none can load a game ive tryed

also does anyone know where to start for extracting models from ps2 games. theres a few transformers models in this game i wanted to try to extract

The only emulator that has a small chance of running something you want to rip models from is PCSX2 0.92. All the others are far, far away of running 3D comercial games.
I've heard that you can use a program called DX Ripper to dump 3D infomation from any application running under DirectX. Never tried it though.

thanks for the help, i didnt think there would be an easy way to do it,  does anyone know how they took the koh models out of the game

When you say "koh" are you reffering to KH as in Kingdom Hearts? If so www.yaz0r.net

yeah i saw that site the other week, thats why i wanted to try it with this game, he's done alot of work on RPG games, just wish there was a way to do it with all ps2 games

Well for a start 90% I know that Transformers game (I had it on DVD, now on my PC as an ISO) and it does run on Pcsx2 but very sloooowly.

nice!!! two steps back and one leap forward. did you need any extra plug ins for it, and what was the configureatioin, i cant get anything to load on mine

Check the PCSX2 web site, they have a FAQ to help you configure it - to be honest their isn't as much to configure as there was with the PSX.
