is this the crash that occurs in the room that they show all the planets?

if it is I ran into that a long time ago when I played it on a slow PC with out a decent graphics card.  All you gotta do is get a better video card if thats the case and play it in 3D mode (if your already in 3D mode try switching to "software renderer"
