Squeeble's Mod "competition" (of sorts) :-D
« on: 2007-04-15 10:04:33 »
Ok so here the deal, I will set out some basic rules witch you must follow, and at the end of a certain period a few people will be chosen to join our little team. Now don't fret if you don't get picked first time round as i need as many people as possible but i can only manage a few at a time. So when the first lot gets settled then i can take more on.

Squeeble's little "competition"

What you need to be part of the team:
Windows Live messenger (MSN), decent english skills and enough discipline to do what i ask rather than what you want. Simple aye.

Now moving on, heres the competition you will convert the malboro from a static .3ds file into a fully working FF7 battle model. The five best (as in working properly) models and there creators will be chosen "at first" to be apart of the team. The winners will be chosen either at the end of may or if i only have a few people that want to be apart of this . But heres a tip use the static model for the bottom. http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s280/squeeblish/malboro1.jpg
Use the generic battle animation for the top. http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s280/squeeblish/malboro2.jpg
When you complete the files zip them upload them and post the links to me via pm or maybe on the forum I'm not to sure yet. If theres anything I've forgotten I'll edit it in later..

If your asking where to get your FFX/X-2 models then you rip them from the game using yaz0r's tools, if you can't PM me.

I quite didn't get the point of these sentences..
Use the static model for the bottom? The bottom of what? Of marlboro?? The bottom screenshot????
Use the generic battle animation for the top??
Anyway i'm now working on my little KH models, if i understand everything and get them to work, then i' ll try this out hé hé  :-D

The bottom half of the malboro in it's static pose and use the generic animation for the top half. Make sense?

I think your first post did make sense too, but you know English isn't my native langage , so when it becomes more technical i usually flee  :-D

I gotta fold on this one sadly I'm kinda getting the grasp of what is required but I'm just not getting the time to do it so it would be a long and slow process I'm better doing this solo and adding when (and if) I ever manage to get something done.

Aww I'm really hoping for some more helpers, is there anyone out there who can do this besides me. I mean ffs I'm 16 dropout and completely self taught in Max, if I can do it surely someone else could.

I didn't say I couldn't and I didn't say I won't but it'd be hella slow since I have work 5 days a week and other commitments to attend to aswell . . .

Wasn't aimed at you specifically just in general stacks of people hit this forum everyday you think there would be someone out there who could do this aswell, so don't take offense to what I said.

The same goes for me. I can't allow myself "work" on this (KH char replacement into FFVIIPC) on the mere 2 days available per week i have... I have some real leisures.
