murak's Sonic patch
« on: 2007-04-29 00:18:22 »
I just got a patch from murak's "website" and I seem to have encountered a problem. Take a look.

Top's while I'm in the game.
Bottom's while in Kimera

Any thoughts?

Yeah this is a simple problem between the animation not fitting the model pieces properly, easy fixed but it takes a while to tweak everything so it works right, and um isn't that Ultimaespios Sonic patch?

I'm Sorry, could you explain?
They're in the same pose in both pictures.
What do you mean?

Ugh... It's a bit beyond my knowledge to explain exactly but basically each of sonics pieces, i.e his head, arms and legs arent aligned with the bones properly, so when the bones move in game there moving the model pieces but the not aligned properly.

You re-animate sonic, or convert his animations to one that FF7 can understand.

it isn't mine, It was made by ultima espio. I'll remove it later today so there aren't any more confusion over it. as well as some other stuff.

Oooops i gave you the wrong version  To fix yourself change the name of bouncebracelet.tex to bounce.tex, and the other long one rename it to something shorter. As for the size if you want him bigger use the HRC resizer, it will fix the lighting probs too. One more thing Sonic was a bitch to do, so anyone willing to fix him up is very welcome.

But whem I did that, it didn't read the TEX file, plus I tried re-texturing it, but the arm a hand still didn't show.

Did you edit the RSD for the hand and arm?
