I hate to disappoint you, but, that mod was scrapped by the modder due to reasons I'd rather not indulge in here. But there is news of a group trying to re-convert KH1/KH2 models into FF7PC format.

Or there is still the NPC RC Project if you didn't know about it yet :-P.  However in this one we don't take the model from another games to put it in FF7, we do the models ourself hehe.

heh, if you WANT news of the KH1/KH2 model project, you could always ask around to see if anyone did it already... but if I can get my 3DS Max working again, I'll finish my mod that I seriously began a little while back. (may 4th 2007 to be precise)

well as for KH port mine is on hiatus, I don't know for murak, weemus, andrewmarsh( new weapons) and others.

Dje: hey! with my new name, avatar, webpage and everything else, I'm flying solo from here on out, meaning I won't be part of any major or minor projects, just my own, or helping the "little guy" in the situation. (think of me as "reborn" if you wish)

djsolidsnake86: nah, if you want higher resolutions, you should check out saint's higher resolution patch. also, since people ACTUALLY care for KH1/KH2 models, I'll make more effort to getting 3DS Max working and get down to buisness stright away.

PS: Plus, I don't care what people call me, call me murak/malachi/moohami for all I care! NOTE: I am currently in the process of moving house, so I won't be around as much as I normally am. Less editing time on my part... :-(

Wouldn't porting models from one game to another, class as a copyright infringement which would more then likely be the reason it was stopped

Unless I'm mistaken, wouldn't it only be illegal if the ported models were kept the exact same they were in the other game? because I was looking up some stuff and found that if you change something, it would be considered to be the person's code and he/she can do whatever they want with it?

If you want to be safe, you don't use someone else's models, period. If you want to nitpick, there probably is some point where the original content becomes so insignificant that it wouldn't hold in court (but that point is certainly much, much farther than "something"), but that would do nothing to stop someone from suing you.

Wouldn't it be just simpler to do the right thing, and build the models from scratch, rather than try to come up with ways to justify stealing?

hey, if I DID finish my little mod with KH1/KH2 characters, then I myself would keep it to myself, I wouldn't just share it out to the community.

Would you share it in MP? As I helped you into this "mod" ?  :-)
