It's a new battle of cloud. Normaly i would test this my self but when i do i crash so i was wondering if anyone here is willing to test it for me.

As for your trouble, if the game crash, maybe there is a problem with LGP files...

Could Be. But i have problems with the other mods that edit the char/battle including the npc. even when i follow all of instructions. (the main problem when it comes to the npc (others have/had the same one as me) is that the "xxxx.xx is unknown file" thing comes up when i run the program.

okay... 1337_grim, to make sure some stuff worked, did you try seeing how it worked if you replaced part of the battle model, say, the hand if you were changing weapons worked? that way, if the weapon was off screen or something, it naturally won't work, I only used that as a example. I hope that you found this useful and able to somewhat remedy your problem with my little example.
Plus, it sounds sound like a corrupt lgp file to me, and if you want the NPC RP, I could get you the char data that you need to zip up into a lgp nd it should work.

Um... i'm not sure exactly what you said there. i'm new to the whole moding/modiling thing and to let you know (not sure if you already know this) but i just used kimera to replace/change some of the models that the origanal (spelling) cloud has.

don't worry grim, I am terrible at explaining, and I was able to tell what you did, and I would ask you if you cannot get cloud with vincent's claw working, weither or not you'll  have a copy of my "KH1 cloud made with FF7PC technology" as my proper "KH1 cloud mod made with the proper KH1 cloud" is terrible. what I did;
gave cloud vincents claw fingers, (as he have those in KH1) a leg guard thing as he does in KH1, it would be easier to just show a pic.


and you can't tell, but the buster sword has tape on it as well.

well, he's nothing special. I just gave cloud vinny's cape, claw finger, gave him a leg guard and for the battle gave him a wing as well as tape for the buster sword. it's  just one of my half hour mods.

well, I didn't have a lot to work with, also, when I say a half hour mod, they are generally generated through boredom and just a means of momentary self-fulfilment to delude myself from the inevitable truth, which is that I don't enjoy modding.

Nice. Hey just wondering what did you use for the cape and leg guard? also how did you added the tape to the buster sword? (i wanted to do that two). Also do you think you or squeeble or someone else help me with my mod? (i know you guys cant come to my house and tell me what to do so it would work)maby pm  me with the "answers" like what to do/where to put the files and what not. so i could update my mod and make it public. Also last night i was thinking what would ff7 be like if the field/char were kinda like the ff9 chars (the whole kiddish style like replace the field models with the battle without resizing any parts unless its needed to make it close to the origanal size)

well, you can SEE where I got the leg guard from, (cough, the shoulder, cough) and the cape itself was directy taken from vincent, but the base of the cape was added in kmera after deleting the unwanted part of vincents chest. the shoulder was added and resized, and the proper fingers were deleted, and the claw fingers were added and put into place, and the wing was taken from safer sephiroth, (mtaa) and was then resized.
as for the tape? well, I deleted all but the flat end of the buster sword, vortex coloured it white, (i think it's called that) and then added it the the buster sword and lengthened/shortened when was required. (as well as rotating the tape around the blade)
well, I just reveled the secret  of how I threw it together in half a hour for the field, battle and world map. (for the battle model, I just used the copy and paste method.)
EDIT: sorry, didn't see the end of your post. the field models are like fleas dancing around on the battle models body, size wise anyway. and I don't know, but maybe weemus could help you make a more child like FF7 since he did chibi FF7?

Well it would probably be better for you to post your questions up on the forum that way everyone else who has this sort of problem can just search the forum rather than answer questions that have already been answered. But I won't do any physical work on these mods such as helping you make something then sending it to you, I will however answer most questions, plus im on the other side of the world to allot of people here so you'll either get an immediate response or you wont get one for 12 hours . So yeah just post your questios up in a related topic I dunno maybe open your own one wich would be full of help full hints witch might get the privilege of being stickied depending on how usefull the info is.
