I was pre-ordering my Gamecube last Friday (the day X-Box came out I think)...

Store guy: Do you want an X-Box? We have those in now.
Me: Nope.
Store guy: Good. No one else does either.

Is X-Box doing well at all?

The problem with Xbox is lack of good games. (Sadly) the new Shenmue game is coming out on Xbox. It WAS going to be the very LAST game ever produced fro Dreamcast, but Sega and Microsoft agreed to release it for Xbox only. f***ing Microsoft!!)

Shenmue II is out in Europe for the dreamcast

and Japan. Since I have no money my dad is picking it up for christmas along with a US Gamecube

. There is only one person I know that wants an box and even he isnt sure about it anymore after playing DOA3(cr*p), Fusion Frenzy(cr*p), Halo(good), amped(good), PGR(mediocre), Munch(cr*p), Mad dash(ok) and some other game which was also cr*p.

Yeah, I found out last night as I was reading my friend's Gamepad mag for December (I think...) and i got really happy when I say "Shenmue 2 - Dreamcast". It means I don't have to buy a F*cking Xbox! YAY!!!

The Star Wars game looks pretty cool, Smash Bros. looks cool, the Zelda looks... um... different...

I dunno, but I'm definatly sold on Super Smash Bros. Melee! That game looks like it totally kicks!

As for the new Zelda... Apparently that's how the creator originally imaged Link & Hyrule looking like. Personally, I like the way he looks in Zelda 64 & Majora's Mask better...

I thought the new Zelda look was kinda dumb at first, but I read that they were working on the cool-looking one that we saw when we first saw Gamecube a year or so ago, and they said that game was turning out a lot like Ocarina of Time.

Think about it..... it probably would end up with the same feel and style? They said they wanted to do something different... and this is it. They also said they might still work on that game after the "cartoon" one is released.

I played both the gamecube and the xbox at the local sam goody. both of them are much better than the ps2. The xbox has a great lineup of games, and i actually prefer the controller to the gamcube or dual shock. Its big and comfortable. yes, I do hve extremely large hands.

I have a Gamecube and Star Wars. It's awesome. The controller is perfect. Well worth the money.

i like the 'A' button on the gamecube controller, and the joystick C pad. Ingenious design, not as comfortable as the xbox controller though. If you have small hands, you can always get the japanese version.

I played a few Xbox gmes thought they were ok apart from Halo which was good. I'm getting a cube for christmas too

The cartoony Zelda is what I imagined Hyrule to be like, however link just looks stupid.

Darkness: As McEnroe would say "YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS". I really loved the first two zeldas but this one looks an absoulute pile of sh*te. Nearly every Nintendo fan agrees......

I'm a Zelda fan, and I think it was a VERY bad idea to make him look like this, especially after showing those other "better" screen shots.

OTOH, I've hear that as the game progresses, Link will mature into a fully grown Anime man, which could be where those other pics came from...

i just think the initial plans for zelda gamecube were horrible. It also shows that modern consoles can do more than just shape polygons.
