Router issues
« on: 2007-07-10 19:39:58 »
Hey guys, I just bought a new router which seems to have problems with it. Its a linksys wrt54gl, I've flashed it with the dd wrt firmware. The problem is, it keeps randomly disconeccting. I'm thinking its because of perhaps some settings some where? I have it on dchp auto config, but I know my line is meant to be PPPoA , but there isn't an option for that. Any ideas?

I have no idea how your router works, but the dhcp settings could be set to renew your ip every so often, try setting it longer, like 1 week, or static.

Have you made sure the router is set to Keep Alive instead of Connect on Demand?
