K-lite codec pack is interfering with truemotion codec.
Uninstall it,
re-install it and during setup choose microsoft default as AVI splitter
After install, in start menu go to k-lite, configuration and open ffshow video decoder. Under codecs tab, scrool down to truemotion1,2 and change it from libravcodec to disable. click on apply then ok
Retry ff7, it should work now

This Forum doesn't provide support for FF7:Ultima.  Boo at stealing FF7! :x
And I will provide this from a thread stickied at the top of of Tech Support called "We DO NOT Provide Support for Downloaded Copies of the Game!":
^Thread title.

This includes, but is not limited to, FF7, "FF7 Ultima edition" FF8, etc.

Your movies don't work because someone distibuted an effed up copy of the game.  You get what you pay for.  Deal with it.

There.  Someone sticky this now so that noobs will stop bugging us every week about why they can't get their illegally dled version of ff7 to run -_-

...Actually, they probably won't even see this and ask anyway =/

Thank You EmperorSteele :P
