Is this the cosmo canyon crash?

Hi,

I'm a new member and this site has been a great resource for getting my copy of FFVII up and running. I've installed the input patch, the chocobo patch, and something (I forget what it was) called "ff7betap."

Anyways, the issue: I reached the point where Bugenhagen shows off his planetarium, and when his presentation is seemingly over, I have control of Cloud but cannot exit the room. Tifa and Aerith are in the room with me (I selected those two to be in the party at the last save point) but they do not talk with Cloud and neither does Bugenhagen.

The screen is not frozen, the music continues to play, and the system does not crash -but all I can do is run around the room.

Do I need to be at just the right angle to talk to Bugenhagen, or is this the cosmo canyon crash? Would this solve my problem: http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=4505.0

Any help would be appreciated, and I will try to be more than just a lurker from now on.

update:

I tried it a few more times, and if I kept Cloud still and just pressed enter, the conversation continued, and I was able to leave the planetarium solar system room. Not sure why this did not work before.../
