I can hear the sound but the screen is just black.  :?

What would that be? Maybe it's covered in the "STICKY: The Great FF7 FAQ (read before posting for FF7 support!)"? Who knows...

I found the the problem, i downloaded ffdshow but i still don't know why it didn't let ff7 work.

you have installed directshow?, you can find that inside the install cd

perhaps he needs to install directshow and duck truemotion and the problem is solved ;)
