Believe me, I know. I built two identical computers, the only difference being 1 was an AMD 1.2gHz with two 60gig IDE HDs & 256 megs of RAM and the other was an Intel 1.5gHz with a single 36gig SCSI HD & 512 megs of RAM. Loading the same scene, the Intel did it about 10 times than the AMD, however, when I rendered it, the Intel took about 7 minutes & 15 seconds while the AMD did it in 6 minutes & 37 seconds (or so).
What does THAT tell you? Hmm?
Actually, Darkness, we need to Invade Canada, so we can afford to invade Panama, so we and fully fund the invasion of Tokyo. Not Japan, just Tokyo.
