ff7 config up+left isn't working

hi.  i have everything working except this small config issue.

I downloaded the alternate config since i have a laptop with no numpad.  UP works.  LEFT works.  but UP+LEFT does not work.  all the other keys and combos work.  don't know what's going on here.  any help?

nevermind.  i got the  psx->usb converter

Yeah I hate that. I had that problem and I forgot I was using that stupid converter too.

nah i mean the problem was when i was using the keyboard UP+LEFT.  i never fixed the problem, i just stopped using the keyboard.

i am now using the psx-usb converter (my original psx controller now).  works great, all directions work

Oh lol I thought you mean ps/2 -> usb converter. When using a ps/2 keyboard (normal round plug) and using this converter, the keyboard goes into a power-saving mode in which only one button can be pressed at a time. It's ghey.
