Question about FF7CC

  Hey all. I was planning on buying a PSP and Crisis Core here in a few weeks, and first of all, I was wondering if it will come out on other systems. I'm pretty sure it won't, but just asking. Also, I was always a big fan of the Aeris vs. Aerith debate, and I like Aeris more, for various reasons. Is there going to be a chance for me to change her name, like when you first meet her? Because in the older Final Fantasy games, like 7 and 8 and such, you can change the character names when you meet them or when they join your party. So is it possible to change her default name?

CC is PSP only and you can't change characters names.

Well maybe in a few years time there will be a PSP emulator for the PC or something - and with a bit of hacking at the game data I'm sure you could in theory change Aeris' name but for now you'll just have make do with Aerith :p

They don't really allow you to change names anymore because of voices in the more recent games. I think it would look pretty stupid if the characters said "Aerith" but the screen said "Aeris".

The only real exception was Tidus in FFX, and thats because none of the characters said his name in the entire game. Which irritated me.

Ya I know about the voice thing. I'm glad they're doing it, but I'm a die hard fan of the original. That and Aerith sounds like you have a lisp, and Aeris rools of the tongue. But still, nothing I can really do to change it . Oh well.
Are they coming out with a bundle in the U.S. for it? I know they did in Europe and Japan.

It was released on March 25th in the USA. Here's a quote from the Wiki:-

"If pre-ordered from certain retailers such as Gamestop, the buyer may receive a Shinra UMD case, depending on how long supplies last at each retailer and if pre-ordered from Best Buy, the buyer may receive Crisis Core with a metallic foil cover."

Thanks. The link was down, but if it came out in March, there probably won't be any of them left, lol. And I don't think you can still pre-oreder if the game is already out. Or can you. Anyway, as long as I have the game, I'll be alright. lol.
