Could someone here please tell me how I can convert the worldmap files to .objs or something else I can edit in Maya? I'd be willing to pay for someone to make me a simple converter, though not much because I don't have much. Or I could do art in exchange. Here is a sample of my work, and also a look at the project this is for: http://www.spike.com/video/midgar-public-access/2765943

Thanks

Thanks. I'm pretty much completely relying on this site though. I hope someone here knows how to do it. I'd try to do it myself with the info in Tonberry's worldmap thread, but I'm not that good at programming yet.

Should I maybe post this somewhere other than Completely unrelated since it might help the Q gears project too?

Its seen by everyone on the forum pretty much no matter where you put it so I wouldn't bother.

Its been a while since you first posted this, so its now seeming likely that no one knows how to do what you're asking for, sorry.
