Game Crash and Blue Screen of Death

I installed Final Fantasy VII with the discs using maximum install, then installed the 1.02 patch, the Saint's hi res, reconstruction, fidula's music patch, and some parts of yamp (gypt, 9999 limit, transparent dialog, and minigames parts) in that order.  I previously had problems with my 8800 gtx but I got the new driver and it works fine even with xp and no compatability configuration for 98 or xp patches (they seem to screw the game with graphics errors and random crashes).  I have installed True and configured k-lite handlers not to play true and to disable avisplitter(gabest).  All the movie files are in a folder inside the install folder and seem to work correctly with a cd crack from Lil Cracking Group and it even got through the Yuffie encounter with no problems. 

Now to the issue.  I had gone back to search for Yuffie near Junon and after applying all these fixes and mods (this must be the fifth or so installation), and I take the elevator up and head for the ship you stow away on to get to Costa Del Sol.  It goes through most of the animation fine but right as the boat pulls in, the game keels over (music continuing) and hands me a nice fat blue screen of death.  I would like very much not to have to install again as I have finally got it working.

Well seems like no one knows how to solve it used a savegame editor to get by without the junon boat but now have random crashes with the blue screen of death and it stops me entering the second interior room of the ancient's temple with no way around.  Would greatly appreciate some help if anyone knows what is wrong.

What's the name of the module in the BSOD? It could point you to the possible solution.

Hmm dunno.  I'll check.  Guess I gotta self-inflict one lol.

Ok I couldn't get on my computer for a while but i found the error name.  Stop 0x0000008E (0xc0000091, 0x0068DB20, 0xA7c9D3cc, 0x00000000)

And... the module name? Like ntdll.dll.

Well that was the odd thing it didn't seem to have a module connected to it it just had the whole "Your computer had to shut down to prevent damage" message, window's normal suggestions, then that stop error i listed.  I didnt see a process listed.

Well, can't give you another advice than to turn off all unnecessary programs, and try again. Maybe even turn off the av software for a while (just make sure you're not connected to the internet).

Well, unfortunately shutting down unneeded programs didnt work.  I guess ill have to reinstall and get rid of some mods maybe.
