if you want to change the weapon stats and materias status, please download the Wall Market program. If you click on the weapons tab, you can change the weapon ID, weapon stats, weapon hit sound etc... and even who is able to equip it. If you select a weapon and put a tick on every character, all of them will be able to use it.
if you want to change the weapon models ( for example you want the buster sword to look like masamune ) , you have to unpack the battle.lgp ( using lgptools ) and look for the file of the buster sword ( its rtck ) and replace it with the file of the masamune blade ( its sack )
