Hello! Plz help, i have a lag with videos in game(FF7).

Hello i am new on this forum, and i already have a problem with my game ..
I decided to play my FF7 PC version again. Playing on laptop. Installation went fine and there were no problems at all. Okey.. i went to game and no problems so far"cheers"  .. until i started NEW GAME. The start video lags. The sound is not same with the video it is more ahead..the video lags a bit too, like a slideshow or something(yes, i have videodrivers installed ). and i can't play the game like that cause i need to see all the cutscenes too.
So.. um, i hope you got what i meant and someone will be able to help, i'd be thankful (i am not from english speaking country. My english might be weird)

If something of these specs help:

comp/laptop: DELL Vostro 1510
video: NVIDIA Geforce M8400 Go
resolution: 1440x900
..else might not be important

do all video's lag or is it just the opening video ? (like the eidos screen when you first open ff7) and have you tried going to the video folder (on the CD there should be a folder called movies or it may be in the games folder if you are playing with them off the harddrive) and you could try playing the movie in Windows Media Player or whatever other player you have and see if the same thing happens that way you will know if its a problem with the game or the file or a codec problem.

Okey, i watched some videos on cd and they work fine with media player, but in the game they lag. Is there a possibility to take the movies folder and put it into Program Files/S../Final Fantasy ? Could you tell me how to do it? And is there a way to play the game without cd's ?

Well i cant really tell you how to play without the CD completely (its possible but because its classed as cracking and i aint sure if we can discuss that here and i dont want to get banned) but you could copy just the movies to your harddrive to see if it makes a difference. If you want to do this i recommend reading this thread

and on there read the question about "Problem: How can I get my movies to play off the hard drive?" and that should answer it for you (also the question underneath says basicly what i said above). Also have you already updated the game to the 1.02 and all the other patches and stuff ? you might even want to try saints high res patch to see if it helps.

I now have movies in my hard drive ff7 folder and the videos play fine now. I understand that i still have to switch cd's, but that isn't a big broblem.. can't be too lazy
