Macs are generally better. In nearly every way. I don't find them particularly user-friendly, however. That's probably because I'm not used to them. I'm used to PCs, so I prefer PCs. But Macs are very fast, crash infrequently, do not require a CPU, and have got some pretty cool features. They also boot up 10x faster than any PC I've ever used.

Also, you have to remember that when you buy a Mac, you buy a status symbol and a fashion accessory as well as a computer, so the price will naturally be higher.
