about graphics drivers

ok So I know people are doing advanced things here and i have a really basic question, but I havent been able to find the answer elsewhere.

I have ff7.
I have patch 1.02
 
But in an older version of of the 1.02 patch it asks for a gru something other driver that seems to be completely offline.

I am aware that isnt the one most people on this site seem to be using though.

The other version of the 1.02 asks to try two specific drivers from the nvidia webpage, but these don't seem to be online at their site anymore.

Exactly what drivers are people using and where do i find them? I've looked.

I have a nvidia 6200 video card. I can get the game to install but not play.

Of course, the old answer would be to check TNT in FF7Config and put it in hardware mode so that it says "---" next to 8-bit paletted textures.

appreciated. I saw that before actually but was confused. I got the download from it though.

Its just telling me to install cd (even though i did a full installl)

Problem is I dont actually have the cd.

I have the iso image. if i use daemon tools it only wants to reinstall though.

Any idea for this fix?

also i just click and drag all those files in in ff7 directory correct?

I did, but nothing in the config looked different.


But I am also using two different pcs this one is a gateway with an intigrated vid card. the one with the nvidia card is my dedicated gaming pc (with no internet and not hooked up this second)

I have been unable to get the game to work on either pc though

Yup..there'll be no difference actually...The only thing ya can fix there is the graphics...

choose the NVIDIA---TNT

640 x 460 16bpp (Full screen)

 and Choose Direct 3d Hardware Acceleration

and of course your preffered Display Driver if you have the means....
