Hello everyone. I've been searching the forums for about 12+ hours today figured I'd join up. I'm interested in learning to model. I have blender and 3dsmax. Truth be told, I like blender more. If anyone has any points to use 3ds over blender I'd like to hear them, as well if anyone has general tips. Thanks all.

Welcome to the forums, as for your 3d modelling question, use whichever program you feel most confortable with. They are both comparable in terms of modelling capabilities.

Thank you. I started modeling with blender. I've been searching the forums for a lot of information and found there are a lot of links that are not working, any fixes planned?

On the links? Doubtful. However you will find the most relevant information regarding ff7+8 within the first 5 or so pages of each forum section.
