Framerate Issues

So I've got FF7 up and running with Aali's Driver, works fine so far, only problem is that the framerate drops bigtime in battles, to like 12fps.
Outside battles it stays nicely on the 30FPS border.

Is there any way to adjust the framerate-limiter here?

Well, if the framerate were increased from the standard 15 fps it should be, then everything would move faster. It went down to 12 for me when I was using fraps. How are you measuring fps?

With the show FPS parameter in the config file.
Do you know of any way to increase it? it's kind of a bugger when you're used to smoothness (god I sound like a snob now).

Anyway, it's still a masterpiece :)

I believe you can, but like I said: everything will be moving super fast. If you put it to 30 everyone will look like they're hasted (then haste them after that for some good spaz action). I don't think this will affect the ATB in any way, but I don't know how all that works. I don't even know where the limiter is. Aali might know.

Well, just have to wait for Aali then.

If there just was a way to unlock or relock the framerate in the battle-scene's.
Well, while I'm waiting for Aali, I'm playing FF VII :)
