Final Fantasy XIII Versus?

Just wondering, is this still gonna come out, or is it canceled? And will it be like FF13, or an FPS ? I Haven't done any research on it lately. Opinions welcome.

I forgot about the smouch.com/lol/ page and it was in my favorites and I clicked on it....and was listining to it for a half an hour cause I left my comp on, I come back home and I'm making food, and its playing, so I was like WHAT THE HELL NEW AVATAR!!!

Also it is still being worked on. I dont know many details though.

All i heard so far is its gonna be a FPS with some FFXIII features, maybe like DoC? :O :O

I was under the impression that it was going to be released at the same time as XIII, but there's still no release date AFAIK. Anyway, it's supposed to be an Action-RPG like Kingdom Hearts with AC/Dissidia style combat which, if that's true, I'm *so* getting it as soon as it comes out.

Versus will be more traditional than XIII. Nomura recently tweeted they managed to make playable world map and airships. It'll be action RPG with Kingdom Hearts style combat as titeguy mentioned, and it'll be first 18+ Final Fantasy game in history.
Also when you look at gameplay trailer that leaked some time ago, since that time, they've improved visuals. It'll be massive.

That is awesome! Never really liked Kingdom Hearts that much, but still!!!! Sounds pretty good, I'm prob gonna pick it up the night it's released. The night FF13 came out, there was a HUGE line at the EB Games down the street. 18+....? I bet alot of people under 18 are still gonna be playing it anyway...not a first.

It might come out around Christmas, maybe around...start of next year? Maybe the summer? I'm leaning towards Christmas but that's just me.

I just picked up Dante's Inferno (Super-Awesome Badass editon) and it has a tag on the back that says "Remove before microwaving" WTF!?
