Bump. I'm having similar problems replacing the char.lgp file. LGP tools is missing LPGPROP.DDL and I have no idea what to do with the lpg and unlpg commands sithlord48 uploaded; they open up for a second and then close immediately. I have Windows Vista installed and am using the FF7 PC version. Just trying to extract the char.lgp for the NPC Reconstruction, that's all.

Any help would be seriously appreciated; tired of frying my brain over this. Thanks

Do not necro post. Especially when you have made an identical topic elsewhere. No warning as I am in a good mood today :P

watch the dates thats a way necro post (you will prolly be warned by a mod for this post)

aali's lgp and unlgp must be run in a command line

on windows (any version) hit the window button +R (this will open a run dialog)
run the command 'cmd' (no quotes)
then in the cmd window use teh command lgp <folder> <archive name> or unlgp <lgpfile> just know that unlgp will dump all the files in the same folder as the lgp. so i suggest you copy the lgp to a folder before you attempt to extract it.

hopefully that helps

Hahaha "necropost"; that's a really funny term. Sorry, new to forums but I'll remember that one. Thanks for overlooking it.

Oh actually I found some guy saved me troubles and uploaded the "char" file on the internet so I'm good to go now, but thanks for trying :)

For future people who had the same problem I did, don't even use Tools use Highwind! Or I hear there's a better program called the Phoenix rejuvenation project.
