You're not a horrible or disruptive member, and I appreciate that you're trying to make amends. But, in my experience, the best way to do this is to just crack on with writing useful and interesting posts, rather than just perpetuating the fluff. In DAES OF YORE, I had a similar habit - I, too, had this need to compulsively apologize for every error. But with every effort, I just alienated the veterans further - I was, after all, still churning out crap.
At any rate, don't sweat it. Just close a door on your mistakes, and don't take the censure of a weird English drunkard too hard to heart.
