Problem with ff8 disc 2!!!

Ok so i battled edea and whooped her on the float, then after getting pierced by a huge icicle and it asking for disc 2, i mount disc 2 and as soon as i hit X it automatically exits the game like alt+f4 and my windows start bar is in the middle of my screen and my background is resized and a whole bunch of other stuff. Any suggestions?

First try running the game through a disc drive. Maybe that will work. I haven't have your problem and I play my ff8 on a virtual drive but it also works on a cd drive.

first and most importantly, is the mounts coming from a legit version of the game you have, or did you pirate it?

ultima edition works with very few to none of the mods, and its got some serious issues, anyone who would use the ultima edition is crazy because they've copped out for a crap version of the game

Ultima Edition is a cracked version and you don't buy it. It's also illegal and the people here cannot help anyone using the Ultima Edition.

as darkfang said, yeah, ultima edition is someones attempt at making people think its a legit version when they pirate it, its not buyable

I'm not supporting piracy here or anything (I don't use the PC version), but the pirated copies do work, just sayin'.

ultima edition works, but not with mods, and it just really sucks

oh hell yeah, used to play it all the time, got bored though, i find Zeus: Master of Olympus more challenging
