Hi!
I'd like to start off with expressing my gratitude for all your hard work, it's amazing to see what has become of this game thanks to dedicated and experienced people as yourselves. Unfortunately did I stumble onto a couple of problems and with this post I now ask for your help.

I've been browsing the forum quite a lot the last 24 hours in hope of finding a solution on my own and perhaps learn a thing or two but without luck. The thing is; when I start FFVII and is able to recognize the "START and CONTINUE"-screen am I left with a white background. (I've seen people have Sephiroth and a model of the Buster Sword so I take it this is not how it should look like.)
As one continue on towards the "saved games"-screen one will notice that Clouds picture is white as well and these white pixels/squares/areas/whatever is a perpetual problem as I keep finding them throughout the game. Is this perhaps caused by my graphics card?
Either way am I stuck at the current position where I moments ago grabbed the keystone, went to the save point at Golden Saucer - Ropeway station and paid those petty 5 GP in order to save. I did this because my game crashes every now and then and I don't want to risk having to go through things again and again. It gets a bit tedious doing the same part of a game over and over with close to no variation, at least in my opinion.

I believe I've provided everything necessary in the link which you can find
here.
The .rar file contains:
* Four pictures
- Three of them showing you a few white areas, one showing an area with no faults.
* Crash.dmp
* APP.LOG
* Save00.ff7
- The first slot is where I'm stuck since the game crashes after a while when being in the same area as the white areas.
So what system am I on?
* (CPU) 2-IntelĀ® PentiumĀ® 4 CPU 3.00GHz, 3060MHz, 1024KB (0% Load)
* (RAM) usage: 536/1024MB (52.34%)
* (GFX) RADEON 9000 SERIES - Secondary
* (Display) 1024x768/32bit/60Hz
* (OS) Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 3 (5.1 - 2600)
I believe that should cover most of it. If there are any questions feel free to add me on msn -
[email protected] - as I'm fairly active there and we can discuss possible solutions and/or these errors more easily.

Thanks in advance,

Post Scriptum: I know that not everything is complete and works to 100 % but I'm pretty sure that this is not a common problem as I haven't seen anyone on the forum expressing problems regarding "white areas". You'll understand what I mean when you look at those pictures.
